The Port of Baltimore has always been a vital hub of activity, but the bridge collapse has brought everything to a standstill. It's been tough for everyone—from the workers at the port to the businesses that rely on it for their livelihoods.

But amidst the darkness, there's a glimmer of hope. With the recent opening of a temporary channel, we've seen progress in the recovery efforts. It's a small step forward, but it's a step in the right direction. The channel is expected to be cleared and operating for vessel ships entry and exit by the end of May (estimated).

In addition to this progress, there are further signs of hope emerging. Ports are extending their operating hours to accommodate increased traffic, while Baltimore truckers are being registered for NY/NJ terminal service. Furthermore, CSX has added intermodal service from NY/NJ to Baltimore in efforts to bring temporary resolve to the disruption.
